I’m a jalapeño, but not exactly the kind you’re thinking of. I was born in Xalapa, Mexico, the city jalapeños are named after. A few turns later, New York became home.

My career took a similar route. I went from working in manufacturing plants to creating ideas with some of the world’s best agencies. Over the past 10 years, I’ve made everything from Super Bowl spots and 360 campaigns to ideas built for the phone screen. I like work that feels like it got away with something.

The rest of the time, you’ll find me thinking about tacos, watching combat sports, playing fútbol, taking photos, or debating life with my two existentialist cats.
